It seems that all my life I have been told that you will never amount to anything if you don’t get a proper education. It seems everything everyone tells you is that you need to graduate and go to college, because, now days you can’t get a job doing anything without education. So my philosophy of education is that we should educate students to succeed in the future we create, but everything doesn’t go as planned so we should prepare them for failure.
We should not give students false hopes of the future, we should not lie to them that life after high school is going to be easy. College is completely different from when we were in high school, the rules completely change they need to learn to be able to accomplish what they are given before the deadline, put forward your best work. They should get an idea of what they are submitting, that its not perfect and they should expect to not be perfect.
Even if you do graduate from college that doesn’t mean that you are entitled to your dream job there are others just like you and they might get the job and not you. The student should have fall backs just in case things don’t go as planned, they need to accept failure and move on while still trying.
